History
Founded in 1977, Alkan Air has provided the Yukon with 35 Years of excellence in aviation. Alkan Air was formed by Barry Watson, Win Muff and Joe Muff with a focus on customer service. Hugh Kitchen joined as a pilot in 1982 and oversaw the operation from 1989 to 2012. Under his guidance, Alkan Air has grown and earned a strong reputation for safety and service.

The current management team has over 40 years of combined experience with the company and continues to concentrate on exceeding our customer’s expectations. Alkan Air strives to anticipate the needs of our customers and continues to re-invest in improved infrastructure, training and service.
