Chief Flight Instructor
Jenna has been flying for over 15 years, piloting a number of different aircraft all over Canada. During this time she has worked in numerous roles including: Ab Initio, Multi-engine and IFR Flight Instructor, Chief Flight Instructor, Survey Pilot, Chief Pilot, Operations Manager and Charter Pilot. With a total flight time of over 6,000 hours and over 2,000 hours instructing, Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Flight Training Unit.
Jessica is a class 3 flight instructor, she joins us after working with the Victoria Flying Club. Jessica graduated with her bachelor degree in Geography from the University of Wilfred Laurier in Ontario. She is a skilled instructor and ground school teacher in various topics of flight training. Jessica is a huge asset to the team.
Darcy Joins us from Kelowna where he was working as a Class 4 Instructor and heavy equipment operator. Darcy graduated from the Okanagan College program and holds a float endorsement as well as an instructor rating. He is an experienced outdoorsman with survival, avalanche and rescue training.
With over 9 years of experience in the Flight Training industry and a Class 1 instructor rating, Lance brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Alkan Air. He has held flying positions in New Brunswick, Ontario and Manitoba before beginning his flying career he was a English teacher for 11 years both overseas and in Canada. He has worked as a teacher in many places including South Korea, Taiwan, Kenya and China. Lance is available for class 4 instructor ratings.
Angela is a highly experienced pilot and class 2 flight instructor with over 5,000 hours of flying time. She has managed flying schools in B.C. and the Yukon, and has flown extensively for charter and medevac operations in the Yukon. With her experience with real-world northern flying, Angela is an excellent resource for students and licensed pilots alike.
