Chief Flight Instructor
Jenna has been flying for over 15 years, piloting a number of different aircraft all over Canada. During this time she has worked in numerous roles including: Ab Initio, Multi-engine and IFR Flight Instructor, Chief Flight Instructor, Survey Pilot, Chief Pilot, Operations Manager and Charter Pilot. With a total flight time of over 6,000 hours and over 2,000 hours instructing, Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Flight Training Unit.
Martin hails from Calgary and joins us after flying in the interior of BC. He has participated in the Katimavik program and graduated with honours from Okanagan College in 2014. He has taught flying in the mountains for both private and commercial licences and also with a college degree program. Martin has a float rating as well as glass cockpit experience.
Darcy Joins us from Kelowna where he was working as a Class 4 Instructor and heavy equipment operator. Darcy graduated from the Okanagan College program and holds a float endorsement as well as an instructor rating. He is an experienced outdoorsman with survival, avalanche and rescue training.
With over 5 years of Flight Training experience, Pablo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Alkan Air’s Flight Training Unit. He has held various roles in the Flight Training Industry including, Chief Flight Instructor, Assistant CFI and Base Manager. Prior to instructing, Pablo completed his Flight Training in Ontario in 2010 and is a graduate of Centennial College Aviation where he specialized in Avionics Systems.
Angela is a highly experienced pilot and class 2 flight instructor with over 5,000 hours of flying time. She has managed flying schools in B.C. and the Yukon, and has flown extensively for charter and medevac operations in the Yukon. With her experience with real-world northern flying, Angela is an excellent resource for students and licensed pilots alike.
